Not sure what will become of it but always fun to try. Plus don’t want to keep reminding myself of my dead dog!

Planted an olive tree today
My beloved dog died this week. Here is a video of when he was young and healthy.
To remember him by and hopefully not let his body go to waste I transplanted an olive tree from a pot into the ground near my garden. Doodles is at the base of the tree so that his nutrients should go up into the tree. When ever I look at the tree I will think of him.

Couple photos from the day
Was playing with my camera today and decided to take a picture of myself doing what I like to spend a lot of time doing. Also a little picture of my garden friend in his her safe cage like garden feeder.
One big beet!
My pretty pink petunias!
Gosh I just really love petunias now. Actually I just like anything that grows. If it grows in the garden I am a fan of it! I thought these were annuals but all winter long it looked like this. These are called bubble gum petunias. I think you can guess why! 🙂
I mail ordered these from garden crossing. I don’t know if they are better than just picking these up from the local store but they sure grow well. I just bought some white ones today from Raleys. They are different in that the petals are very large. They wave in the wind. We’ll see how they compare. I put some in a pot and some in a hanging basket.
Nice surpise in the garden today
My Tulip
My friend Virginia came for a visit this weekend and took a very nice picture of my tulip. She is such a good photographer and digital artist. You can view more of her work here http://www.beaucamera.com/
She also took pics of my red lettuce that is growing rather well and my setup this year.
