Memorial Day weekend always seems like a nice time when it comes to gardening.
In May so many things are ready to harvest and the Farmers markets and fruit stands are at their peak. Above you can see the lily pads and cattails in my claw foot bath tub pond are doing well.
Outside of my little retreat a peahen is acting like a weather vain
What has no hinges, key or lid? Yet inside a golden treasure is hid?
We have too many peacocks as it is and they don’t produce as many eggs as chickens but when they do the yolk is big, golden and VERY yummy – a treasure indeed!
The little treasures above are what keep me at it year after year! š
Your garden looks very nice!
Wow, a bunch of happy shots! That bench and fountain is a great spot to sit and eat your eggs, check a few emails, enjoy some tea, unless of course the peacock makes too much noise!
As interesting read, and I love those colors. š
What a beautiful batch of pictures!
You do such a great job with all those colors Eloine!
A very cosy spot in the first pic.
The peacock is beautiful and the eggs look very yummy.
