Memorial Day weekend always seems like a nice time when it comes to gardening.
In May so many things are ready to harvest and the Farmers markets and fruit stands are at their peak. Above you can see the lily pads and cattails in my claw foot bath tub pond are doing well.
Outside of my little retreat a peahen is acting like a weather vain
What has no hinges, key or lid? Yet inside a golden treasure is hid?
We have too many peacocks as it is and they don’t produce as many eggs as chickens but when they do the yolk is big, golden and VERY yummy – a treasure indeed!
The little treasures above are what keep me at it year after year! 🙂
