Couple of updates

I have more to post but this is it for right now. My vain atempt to protect my plants from insects and birds. Since I have been feeding the birds they have also been dining on my plants. This mosquito netting I thought would work to stop the birds since they go right through the bird netting. Also maybe it will stop the cabbage moths. Since I did this though I have learned of a cool product from farmtek that is a screening that is very fine but lets the light in.

Also below is my second attempt at the as seen on TV upside down tomato plant gimmick. I call it at gimmick at the moment because I don’t really see why it should work any better than tomatoes straight in the ground. I tried it before but didn’t have an adequate holder for it. Now they sold it with it’s own stand and it tucks neatly in my garden area. That part of it I like. I have Roma grape tomato, big boy & husky cherry red so I will try and post updates on it’s progress though out the season.
