Patty pan squash problems

Wondering is this is the result of no bees? Just the other day I thought these were setting. Now all I find are these shriveled up things 🙁

Good question. Looks like the plant and flowers were quite healthy, so it’s odd the fruit didn’t grow well. Maybe it visited my garden? At least my tomatoes and zucchini is growing good.

My patty pan squash vines have no flowers or, naturally, no squash. This happened to me the last time I tried growing patty pan. Pretty vines, no flowers.

    Hi Rudy,

I pretty sure that’s not a pollinated flower. I have read that using a brush between the flowers is the thing to do. I might try to do that again and be more vigilant.
