It was nice to go to Yosemite – a place I go to quite often and discover a little gem I haven’t seen before. It’s just a little spot along the side of the road called Fern Spring that runs all year round. Below are a couple shots taken with a tripod at ISO 100, F5.6 & .8 sec exposure to get the blurred water.
Man I love fern spring. It’s so green now! I went in February and there wasn’t much color — it was winter after all. Man, I just love the amazing reflection in the 2nd photo — the trees above the spring are unreal! I think I might have liked a little bit longer exposure to get more silky smoothness in the water, but that’s just my personal preference. Wonderuful couple of photos Eloine!
What a beautiful spot! The reflections in the second photo are amazing.
Two super water images, great reflections in the second one.
Wow. Just wow.
One of my must stop places in Yosemite, always so tranquil and soothing feeling!
Both shots are magic, Eloine! Great job.
Very smooooooth and calming.
you are great, Eloine! 🙂
