Just a few shots along the way…
Just announcing that I am starting up my daily image blog again that I did back in 2010. I was focusing on other things in 2011 but a daily post even if small really helps you when you look back on things.
I will have it separate from my main blog so I don’t muddy it up with my daily dribble. You can still see it though if you care to by looking at the RSS feed on the right.
Each year we decorate our friesian horses on Christmas Eve and cover them with sleigh bells so we can hear them jingle all through out Christmas day.
I just couldn’t pick a favorite so here they all are. I got a chance to photograph a pup of a different color this weekend and I have to say it was a little bit of a challenge. Her fur is inky black so I chose to photograph her against black and let the light from the window create highlights on her fur that would define her shape. For the most part I think it worked. Help me pick a favorite?
This is a midday shot as the sun was catching the fog coming off of Mount Diablo. I originally thought the cars in the foreground were distracting but the light was outlining them perfectly so I left them.
Thanksgiving is a time of course to give thanks. Yup we should do it all the time but it’s a day to actually think about it! I was thankful for the ability to watch this little bug and for the wonderful bounty of food we had today. I think our bird enjoyed his treat of a walnut as well while I played with the focus on my camera some more. What a nice day to be off work 🙂
