Info graphics are visual illustrations to fancy up some information in a more appealing way to read. The information graphic above on the “5 D’s of Web Design” I created using Canva. I will show you how I put some of the elements together using shapes to create the “D” and how I edited the icons.
I took it a step further to make the graphic interactive by using an additional program called Thinglink. Now, when you click on any of the petals of the graphic you will see a description of each step in the web design process. I will demonstrate how you can take a graphic into Thinglink and create your own interactive graphic and then embed it on your own website. This could be a map with detailed directions, a tour of a custom home or garden you created, or just an interactive greeting card you want to share with friends. The ideas are endless and fun how you can link all this stuff together.
