My vain atempt to protect my plants from insects and birds. Since I have been feeding the birds they have also been dining on my plants. This mosquito netting I thought would work to stop the birds since they go right through the bird netting. Also maybe it will stop the cabbage moths. Since I did this though I have learned of a cool product from<a href=\"http:\/\/www.farmtek.com\/farm\/supplies\/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10052&amp;storeId=10001&amp;langId=-1&amp;division=FarmTek&amp;productId=120763\"> farmtek that is a screening that is very fine but lets the light in.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Also below is my second attempt at the as seen on TV upside down tomato plant gimmick. I call it at gimmick at the moment because I don&#8217;t really see why it should work any better than tomatoes straight in the ground. I tried it before but didn&#8217;t have an adequate holder for it. Now they sold it with it&#8217;s own stand and it tucks neatly in my garden area. That part of it I like.
