{"id":904,"date":"2009-06-28T20:23:16","date_gmt":"2009-06-29T03:23:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eloine.com\/gardenblog\/?p=444"},"modified":"2009-06-28T20:23:16","modified_gmt":"2009-06-29T03:23:16","slug":"scrumptious-meal-from-some-that-i-harvested","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eloine.com\/blog\/archives\/904","title":{"rendered":"Scrumptious meal from some that I harvested!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today I harvested:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Several large squash<\/li>\n<li> grocery bag of tomatoes<\/li>\n<li> handful of beets<\/li>\n<li> arm load of swiss chard<\/li>\n<li> chocolate mint and watercress for a salad<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From the tomatoes and the squash my mother made the following recipe that is absolutely scrumptious!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Coarsely chopped squash<\/li>\n<li> steamed, skinned and stewed tomatoes<\/li>\n<li> caramelized onions<\/li>\n<li> crushed freeze dried green pepper<\/li>\n<li> fried senorita jalepe\u00f1os<\/li>\n<li> salt and some butter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>(all cooked in a frying pan)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> lean top round ground pork<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Meat is cooked separately from the squash and then put together in a large frying pan along with the rest of the ingredients and stirred.
