\"pup\"<\/a>I recently took pictures of an adorable Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and some of the photos have been accepted at Shutterstock.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

This one of of the sad puppy pose<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0in particular I am making into a greeting card for when you are missing someone.<\/p>\n

The front of the card shows her as a sad little puppy with a thought bubble above her head saying “When you’re not here…” and in the inside it says, “I feel a little sad.”<\/p>\n

I thought I would also take the time to do a quick tutorial on how to use Adobe Illustrator to make a thought bubble. There are a bazillion ways to do this but this is a nice quick and easy way I thought I would share.<\/p>\n

  1. Use the ellipse\u00a0tool to make\u00a0circles around the edges of the text area.<\/strong>
    \n    \"Screen<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Then make a large white circle to cover middle.<\/strong>
    \n    \"Screen<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Select all circles and select \u201ctrim\u201d in the pathfinder window<\/strong>
    \n    \"Screen<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. Then select \u201cmerge\u201d in the pathfinder window to make one shape.<\/strong>
    \n    \"Screen<\/a><\/li>\n
  5. Now you can stroke the thought bubble with a color and play with the shape<\/strong>
    \n    \"When<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
