Such beautiful light! I tried to download this photo and pull up some of the EXIF info but it’s hidden — I assume you took this in the evening, when the gorgeous warm colors came out? You did a supurb job here. It’s such a pretty place and you did a great job getting this without distracting leaves/branches in the way. I should know, I was just here 2 weeks ago and I had trouble. Were your feet in the water or were you able to find some rocks? I’m gunna assume you found some rocks cuz I wouldn’t want to go near that rushing water! Absolutely a beauty Eloine!

This is a wonderful image, Eloine. You did Yosemite justice for sure. A great scene.

Well golly gee Aaron! That is nice coming from you. I always marvel at the colors and detail you get. You have to get all the way over to the right by climbing under some trees. It was the only way I could get both falls in there. I did climb on some rocks but not too far. I also was guilty of enhancing the color a little bit – I can’t help it. This photo is actually three photos combined. I exposed for the river and then for the middle ground and then for the highlight so I assume that is why it doesn’t show the exif. Would you believe I handheld this shot? I love Photoshop CS5 because it aligned everything perfectly!
