My noisy Scrub Jay

Wow – this guy will NOT shutup! He comes to my garden all the time for sunflower seeds but his main mission in life is to give my cat hell. I know where my cat is at all times by the loud screaming this bird does. He dive bombs my cat and comes within a few feet of him. Years ago my cat killed his mate and he has never got over it. My cat is going a little crazy as well as I am. I have to admire his spunk!

Great shot and we live in the same situation.Sometimes funny;when the cat is on the terrace the magpie sits on the ballustrade but when the bird is on the part of the ballustrade that follows the staircase he glides down LOL.Was always to late to shoot this scene.
We are not shure if Minuit, our cat, has killed a young but probably she did.Nothing is safe for her.

Wow, that’s a sharp shot – and with such an unusual and attractive setting. Super image, Eloine.

Great shot, Eloine. The limited sharp focus is very effective, and the colors all work so well together.

I think it is a Western Scrub Jay, Eloine. They are quite noisy too, and scold us if we go out in the backyard when they are there.
