Cars and me really haven’t had much of a relationship except to ask myself is it big enough to haul stuff and does it have an air conditioner! Well none of these cars below met that criteria so I haven’t given them much thought. So those that know me are a bit perplexed as to why I went to the Friday night drag races at the Sonoma Raceway. Well truthfully a friend of mine really wanted to go and I thought it would be a new experience for me. Well it really was and I must say those cars are loud!!!
One of my favorite things was just seeing how many women compete now and I have to say when a woman rides a motorcycle it is with style 🙂
I really enjoyed watching the mechanics and how they worked as a well oiled machine in a choreographed dance of skill and speed. I took the opportunity to grab a few pictures below.
